Podcasting has become a dominant force in the Irish sports media landscape. Widely consumed on commutes, out walking or running, training in the gym, or as background listening at home.
'The W' is a podcast from RTÉ Sport about women in sport. It aims to engage with a diverse audience by bringing them the biggest sportswomen’s stories from around the globe on a regular basis.
I’ve been asked to create an original brand to aid with recognition of the podcast. Producers desired for the brand to feel athletic and by no means feminine. Applying emphasis on the letter ‘W’ in the logo was also requested.
