HEADLIGHTS
The main idea on this refresh of the Jaguar XE, was to make the car more assertive by reducing the height of both the headlights and the rearlights.
We emphasized on the Calligraphic J blades signature at the front and at the rear a calligraphic chicane line.
We introduced a laser etched pattern on top of the J Blades, the daytime running light which made reference to the original Jaguar heritage pattern.

REARLIGHTS
On the rear lights, we wanted to slim down the lights, and make them darker. One of the feedback was that the red of current rear light make it look old fashion. We made evolve the signature towards a chicane line, inspired by calligraphy. We emphasise the weight of the line from thick to thin, as calligraphic artist would do with his brush.
