the movement of the human body, and most other objects, needs time to accelerate and slow down. that's why we use easing to achieve this feel in animation
nothing moves in straight lines, so every movement should follow an arc path in animation
in animation you should always consider mass and weight of every object or character
when a moving object stops, parts of it might continue to move.
a "Projector" logo was used to illustrate the "follow through and overlapping action" principle
anticipation is the preparation for the main action
mass and weight will force the object to squash or stretch in movement
secondary action supports the main action to add more dimension to the animation
exaggeration presents a character’s features and actions in an extreme form for comedic or dramatic effect
