Three posters with my own typeface "Sara".
Installed by Erik Brandt on March 7, 2018.
The part of Ficciones Typografika.
1619-1621 (72”x36”). Minneapolis, the USA.
* The typeface "Sara" was inspired by the arrest of two students (Sara & Orlando) after the big student demonstration in Bologna. This incident led to public disagreement that manifested in numerous graffiti throughout the city. Thereby, posters look like self-initiative street posters with brief information about two characters of the occasion.
Posters can not work without each other. Next piece always completes the previous one.
Posters are the part of Ficciones Typografika, project dedicated to typographic exploration in a public space and is curated by Erik Brandt. The exhibition surface is a 72”Wx36”H poster board which can host three 24”x36” posters at a time.
Thanks to Erik Brandt and Noël Leu.
Thank you <3
