Idea - Model - Imprint
The ISBA maintained for five years of close cooperation with the School of Art in Athens one of the largest in the Mediterranean and Balkan Europe. Exchanges of residents, teachers, researchers, artists, curators and students have succeeded at a steady pace until you see an obvious holding a large collective exhibition to show the often poorly known artists and France excel in almost all mediums considered: photographs, drawings, paintings, installations, publications, performances etc.
"Eidos" in ancient Greek means indeed the idea, but also the footprint and model, all possible face this crisis artistic postures, like those terrible monsters of the old myths, horror but also reveals the value of hero: Manolis Baboussis, Panos CHARALAMBOUS, Rilène MARKOPOULOU Apostolos PLACHOURIS, Demosthenes Agrafiotis Andreas PASHIAS, Poka-YIO Vassilis VLASTARAS, Chrysanthi KOUMIANAKI and a selection of videos of students from the School of Fine Arts Athens (Class George Harvalias)

L’ISBA entretient depuis cinq ans déjà une coopération étroite avec l’école d’art d’Athènes une des plus importantes de l’Europe méditerranéenne et balkanique. Echanges de résidents, professeurs, chercheurs, artistes, commissaires et étudiants se sont succédés à un rythme régulier jusqu’à ce qu’apparaisse comme une évidence la tenue d’une grande exposition collective destinée à montrer des artistes souvent mal connus en France et qui excellent dans quasiment tous les médiums considérés : photographies, dessins, peintures, installations, éditions, performances etc.
« Eidos » en grec ancien signifie en effet, l’idée, mais aussi l’empreinte et le modèle, autant de postures artistiques possibles face à cette Crise qui, semblable à ces monstres terribles des vieux mythes, épouvante mais révèle aussi la valeur des héros : Manolis BABOUSSIS, Panos CHARALAMBOUS, Rilène MARKOPOULOU, Apostolos PLACHOURIS, Demosthène AGRAFIOTIS, Andreas PASHIAS, Poka-YIO, Vassilis VLASTARAS, Chrysanthi KOUMIANAKI et une sélection de vidéos des étudiants de l'École des Beaux Arts d'Athènes (Classe de George Harvalias)
Creation of the exhibition poster, with the Commissariat of Laurent Devèze assisted by Julien Cadoret. Based on the artists research in the right proportion, the poster is created on the basis of the shade of gold and the color orange, the color of creation.
Création de l'affiche de cette exposition, avec le Commissariat de Laurent Devèze assisté de Julien Cadoret. Basée sur la recherche des artistes de la bonne proportion, l'affiche est crée sur la base du nombre d'or et du orange, couleur de la création.
