“Fear isn't so difficult to understand. After all, weren't we all frightened as children? Nothing has changed since
Little Red Riding Hood faced the big bad wolf. What frightens us today is exactly the same sort of thing that frightened us yesterday. It's just a different wolf. This fright complex is rooted in every individual.”
- Alfred Hitchcock -

Little Red Riding Hood is illustration made in graphic technique - Linocut and it reflects my personal view on this traditional children's fairytale. It shows a little girl hidden in forest, who is soon-to-be eaten by wolf, which is ironically her own shadow. This moment reminds us, that all fears are hiding within ourselves and it depends on us if we let them "eat" us, just as Alfred Hitchcock stated in the opening quote.
Thank you :)
