This is a self initiated project done in the midst of my Diploma project during my final semester in college.
I had first started off with the malayalee girl in a style that I liked. A character with huge eyes, cute and innocent. Once I saw the outcome of this character, the idea hit me of doing characters of the people in my life in the same simple style. Capturing their characteristics and portraying it through simple characters. Hence here are the few people in my life in the form of characters.
Malayalee Girl : A sweet, innocent girl who is dressed in "Mundu Veshti", carrying prasadam in a small banana leaf and flowers as she is in on her way from the temple.
The process of developing this character. First was a simple sketch which later was digitialy designed using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. The same process is carried out for the rest of the characters.
Sajitha K : My mother who is very simple and humble person. She dedicates her time looking after all of us at home. She cooks well and loves embroidery and stitching a lot. She is very patient with all of us and manages things well.
V Prasenan: My father, always dressed in neatly ironed clothes with a nice shiny head and a wonderful smile.
He spends most of his time travelling and working hard at Batliboi as a general manager. On the weekends he dedicates his time at an ngo called "the little world trust". Collecting newspapers and using that money to educate the kids who need the support.

Arati : My younger sister, who loves to pull my leg every once in a while. Bharatanatyam is her passion, A foodie whose hobby is to cook awesome stuff and indulge in what she makes. She is an aspiring writer who loves Reading. Purple is the one colour you would find in abundance in her wardrobe. Overall She is a chubby, bubbly, fun loving sister. :)
Vinayak : A good friend who is very passionate about design and loves creating illustrations that randomly pop in his mind. He is a huge fan of batman and refers himself as v for vendetta. He loves black, nike and pets, pets , pets !! His little cat "momos" is always around him.
Sayujya: She is the best roomate I have ever had, who is also a wonderful friend. She is a very optimistic, loving , good natured girl whose smile brightens up everyone around her. Her one and only love of her life is her pet dog named "champ"
Collins: A good friend with a very carefree attitude to everything. He loves the place he is from "Edapally, Kochi" and always boasts that Kochi is the best place on Planet Earth. He loves aviators and is always seen wearing his wooden rosary.
Nandita : A good friend who is always happy and is known for her smile. She teaches little kids at a school in her hometown. She sings well, bakes very well and always brightens people around her with her positive attitude.
