Brief
Al-Warraq Island is blessed with great resources, location, and people. The island is going through a transitional period of governmental development, but those future plans are separating the residents from their culture, traditions, identity, and their "past". Thus, the only glue between the future and the past is the youth. To prepare the young generation for the future, Versus Center offers activities that promote youth development not forgetting about their past. On contrary, it emphasizes both their past and future and the dynamism of the development plans, and the rigidity of Al-Warraq.
Concept
The center creates a connection between the two clashing sides of Al-Warraq's past and future, through expressing the dynamism of the youth and rigidity of the traditions.
Form Generation
