EN: This album summarizes my graduation thesis. I decided to create a revised version of the Divine Comedy, the work of Dante Alighieri aFlorentine poet, using the macabre illustrations by Gustave Doré. The thesis is divided into two works: one editorial, where the styles of the divine comedy and various artists who have represented it are analyzed, and the second is a project of realization beyond the digital.
IT: Quest' album riassume la mia tesi di laurea. Ho decido di creare una versione rivisitata della Divina Commedia, opera di Dante Alighieri poeta fiorentino, utilizzando le illustrazioni macabre di Gustave Doré. La tesi si divide in due elaborati: uno editoriale, dove vengono analizzati gli stili della divina commedia e vari artisti che l'hanno rappresentata, e il secondo invece è un progetto di realizzazione oltre il digitale.
CREATIVE PROJECT // POSTER SERIES
EN: The need to make the project accessible for everyone led us to create a series of A3 folding posters, featuring a digital elaboration of Doré's illustrations and the song to which they refer. The posters will have a reference to the complete book, in order to satisfy the curiosity of the most interested and will be delivered to the various literary cafes in the historic center of Bologna.
IT: L’esigenza di rendere il progetto accessibile per tutti, ci ha portati alla realizzazione di una serie di poster pieghevoli in A3, caratterizzati da un’elaborazione digitale delle illustrazioni di Doré e il canto a cui si riferiscono. I poster avranno un rimando al libro al completo, in modo da soddisfare le curiosità dei più interessati e saranno consegnati ai vari caffé letterari del centro storico di Bologna.
