Odwalla was started by a group of musicians selling juice from the back of their van. Today it sells a wide range of juices, smoothies and nutrition bars all across the country.
The redesign started with a simple desire to add some sophistication to the brand without losing the musical heritage. I first started with the logo based on a whole note. For the packaging, the ingredients of each drink create a pattern to convey a sense of rhythm and tempo, as well as illustrate the harmony of flavors.
