• The photographic and videographic studio KLAP asked me to design their identity, based on a wish to express clear, creative and notable brand values. I chose to create a simple, yet strong identity that plays with the associations of applause, clapper boards, crafts and creativity in general. Differentiation was a high priority, which is why I chose to remove the 'A' from the name and replace it with two hands folding (or clapping) in the shape of an 'A'. An analysis showed that, even though the vowel was gone, people knew instantly to read the word 'KLAP' because of the clapping symbol. This playfulness, along with the strong color palette and the clean typeface made the identity express the values of the studio.
