Cahoots Organic Produce

  • Cahoots Organic Produce
  • Cahoots means “to share equally” or “a partnership,” but also has an alternative meaning which is “to conspire.” I see the double meaning as an opportunity for the brand to be more playful. It is conspiring against the average farm and is doing something completely out of the ordinary.
  • After several interviews with restaurant owners, I discovered that most do not keep the product list provided by their supplier. They do, however, keep business cards and place orders by calling their suppliers.

In the interest of creating something that clients will hold onto, I designed a business card that educate clients the benefits of purchasing aquaponic-raised produce (100% organic and better taste) and how aquaponic works. Clients are then directed to the website if they would like to see what is available or simply give Cahoots Organic Produce a call.
  • In order to stay true to Cahoots Organic Produce's dedication to preserving nature, the packaging of its products are kept simple and minimal. Loose leafy plants are held together with hemp strings and loose small fruits and vegetables are gathered in a hemp-woven sack.Once it is ready for delivery, ordered items will be packed into a wooden crate and delivered to the client.
  • Several restaurants in New York City now owns a tablet dedicated for the restaurant whether for taking orders from customers or for internal use. Cahoots Organic Produce’s website is informative and functions as a product list. It is designed to be cross-platform compatible for accessibility and convenience.
