Redefining their story.
Empire Coffee was an already well positioned speciality coffee brand from Doha, Qatar. But they didn't have a strong brand identity that could express its true personality and that’s why they reached out to us.
With the Qatari culture in mind and having the coffee transportation dhow as the most recognisable element, we made a bold and authentic brand with a creative and artistic identity.
After that we designed all the packaging, graphics and illustrations along with the interior design for their two stores and the whole company’s building with their offices and manufacturing areas.

We also developed the Audio branding and animation for social media and ads videos.
Drinking a coffee it's a ceremony, it's an act where our senses align to transmit both calm and euphoric sensations. Empire is a user experience focused brand, and that’s why we focused on the calm and relaxed sensation of preparing and serving the coffee and the uplifting and euphoric sensation after you drink it.
To refer to the Empire's Arabic essence, we used typical Qatari instruments, and all the melody is in the Arabic musical scale.
One of the most important factors for the Empire success is their user experience at the stores. After the rebranding we not only had to change any piece of graphic of their stores, but also we were entrusted the task of leveling up their experience too through the interior design.
Nowadays we not only redesign their existing stores like the Aldafna branch, but we also made the interior design of their newest store located at The Box Park, one of the most trendy destinations in Qatar, and we even design the company’s building interiors with all their offices, common spaces and coffee’s manufacturing areas.
