'A History of Icelandic Film' Book

Book design for A History of Icelandic Film by Steve Gravestock.

Steve Gravestock is an author and Senior Programmer at TIFF, where he specializes in and programmes Canadian and Nordic film for the Toronto International Film Festival. In 2019, he wrote A History of Icelandic Film, which examines the country’s most influential films and notable auteurs of the past few decades.

Minimalism and functionality are some of the pillars of Nordic design. Inspired by these principles, the book has a clean, structured layout, and is set in just a single typeface with several weights.
