Quarantine craft project.
In The Netherlands, when you become a parent, it's common practice to deliver a card to your friends and family.
Usually people hire a graphic designer to come up with a creative design, but I wanted to make it myself in a more artisanal way.
I started looking into Linocut and Linoprint (is it the same?), bought a starter kit with carving tools and some water based colours.
I ended up making 40 prints, of which about 50% still need to be delivered as my brain hasn't fully recovered yet :)
It was a lot of fun coming up with the typography design, doing tests (like the one in the last picture) and printing.
I'll definetely do more for the next special occasions...
