fun with books
I always wanted to share my passion and love for books somehow. Therefor I wanted to make an illustration which shows many different aspects of reading a book.
1. analog SKETCH
In this step I tried to get all the information in the drawing and looking for an interesting composition. Also having a rough idea for colors and mood in mind.
2. Digital Process
Here I finished the drawing digitally and cleaned the lines. I wasn't quite sure which seat I should put the figure so I tried different ones until I ended up with a pleasant one. Since the sketch I had this light ray coming out of the book in mind. After looking at it for quite some time I decided to go for another light approach.
3. Finished Artwork
After having some trouble with the seat and the lightning I think it turned out quite well in the end. Now I want to read another great book.
