A project on structural packaging.We were asked to create a package design.I came with a laptop bag which can be used as table.I made this bag for Asus  Laptop keeping as brand.This is not a generic bag.This bag will showcased along with the product and can be given along with the product.The customer don't have to buy another bag or table for his convenience.   

Packaging Design Process.

Package has visibly to attract customer attention.So it is important to set the procedures of package design. This step by step process creates an effective designs with content that move product off the shelf and into the cart.

So,I came up up with an idea of package for laptop that could help the users.I want a package design that could be useful to customer rather throwing away the package.So i planned to build a bag for laptop that could be showcased along with the product.This bag carries a foldable table inside,charging port,spacious.

To start with my project I have to figure out a mechanism that should work as normal laptop bag while closed & functions as table when opened.The  challenge was to keep the weight and size of bag at minimum.I took reference of Bellow structure for the mechanism of bag.

Inorder to study the functionality of the bellow structure,I made the stand with wood for examing viability.

Now i figured out how to deal with my mechanism,but the challenge was to select the perfect material for my package design.Use of high density PVC board and steel  made my table structure a presentable look,low weight,srong,sustainable and added resale value.
