FLOWR: Improve Your Skills

Flowr is a UI & Interaction Design Project developed during 2013 at Politecnico di Milano.

It focuses on the problem of stuttering, in particular working with little kids.
The system's aim is to give parents and logopedists a way of keeping children's excercise regular and controlled every moment, something that right now, in Italy, is not possible in a simple way.

The system gives an App with which kids excercise by playing and parents can keep an eye on the whole excercise world of his son/daughter. Logopedists have now a platform through which communicate easily with parents and keep an eye on excercise results.

Then there's Jimmy (The Exploder): a concept we had fun creating. It's a cube that resembles a cartoon detonator, designed to help children keep their will for excercising. The cube can be opened and a surprise put into it. Then with a timer the parent can set it to buzz and flash. Once the kind presses the lever, on the smartphone the app is triggered, and once the child finishes the excercise the Jimmy opens and reveals the surprise!

The system is quite complex, and I invite you to ask me any question you may have.

The presentation was made and animated with Keynote, so if you wish to see the professional version here's the link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fet2ol4k2ryauhz/Flowr_presentazione.key
