El Toro - the meanest baddest lawbreaker in these parts . Folks say he can lift a horse on his back and can crush rocks with his bare hands. These might be true but he has a particular soft spot for cats.

John Buddy West - the new town sheriff. A bit skinny for the tough job of a sheriff but he's a damn fine sharpshooter, one of the best in the
West.
