SPCA 'Pets are not toys'
Every year thousands of pets such as dogs, cats, birds and rabbits are abandoned to shelters or the street. Some pets suffering from poor health condition abused by their owners and abandoned for various irresponsible reasons. It is impossible for animal shelters to feed or shelter every abandoned pet, thus some of the pets end up having Animal euthanasia.
Animals have feelings too, they are not toys. I feel that it is very cruel to abandon a pet like a toys, so I camp up a campaign for SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) to raise awareness to stop animal cruelty.
Concept:
I designed a series of postcards that shows the perspective point of the irresponsible pet owner’s eye. In their eye, the pets look exactly like a toy. Then I added in emotion and atmosphere to show the loneliness and hopeless of the pets. The cotton which is bursting out of the body, shows the abuse and health condition of the pet. From these postcard designs, pet owners are aware of the feeling and consequences of the pet after abandoned like a toy.
