This was part of my A-level Art project entitled Inbetweenness. The scenes with the character were inspired by Caspar Friedrich David’s Wanderer above the Sea of Fog.
The mountains scenes were inspired by my travels between symphonies of rock in the Romanian Carpathians and Italian Alps as well as an exploration of tectonic plate movements and formation of landforms. The compositions with bodies of water signal the melting glaciers and the rising sea-levels that need urgent action.
