The Journey is a series of five mixed media drawings, showing parts of this story about a long journey, that started with one little floating trace of adventure.
When Su spots The Trace in the waters near his home, he doesn't know about the great journey he is about to embark on just yet, but he sure feels like something is shifting in the air around him.
The first place to go, to find out about unfamiliar things, is The Harbour.
Here, merchants and travelers from all corners of this world -and possibly others- pass by.
Crossing the great desert on his way east, Su passes over a parade of people of the plains,
headed toward the oncoming storm.
Children celebrate The Arrival of the mysterious traveler who, after a long and wonder-filled journey,
has finally found the source of the trace he was following all along.
Standing among the remnants of a grand celebration, time has come for our traveler to
move on from the temporary home he has found among these people.
However, on the day of his Departure, he will be taking traces of this great adventure with him on to the next.
