When Covid-19 hit South Africa and a nationwide lockdown was announced, we were tasked with the job to create a website where the Kosher community could help flatten the economic curve and support their local restaurants by ordering takeaways.
We created a website listing all the Kosher restaurants in Johannesburg and Cape Town, with their menus and ordering processes.
We included the option to give a tip, to get a tip - a mechanism encouraging the community to tip the staff and waiters who have served the community for years. When a tip is given, a tip about life or health and protection against the virus is given in return.
