FLOWER CHOCOLATE Packaging Design
花 (flower) is a brand that connects Swiss chocolate with edible flowers from China. I created this personal project to celebrate and embrace more than 30 years of partnership between Zurich and my home- town, Kunming. This Chinese city of eternal spring is well-known within the country for its large-scale floral production and plays an important role in the national floral industry.
Visually, I aimed to combine aesthetic elements from Zurich with vintage Chinese packaging. The name label in the middle of the packaging was also inspired by old label styles from China. The design of the packaging and logo is intended to be linear and minimal, in order to add elegance and a modern touch. Recycled paper is used to reflect the brand’s green and eco-friendly values.
