This work is an academic project, designed and executed (Package) box with a Palestinian character and identity, and it contains products from the fragrant Palestinian heritage and Palestinian land.
Baladie® is a campaign name represented in a gift box of an authentic Palestinian character, containing the Palestinian keffiyeh, a bowl of thyme ground from the Palestinian mountains, a bowl of pure olive oil, and pieces of the feast cakes known in Palestine.
Baladie® Definition (in Arabic):
- A place made as a country, a municipal decision.
- Baladie of plants: the original plant that originated in the same country, unlike the intruder brought in from outside municipal plants.
- Baladie workmanship: local workmanship, i.e., from the industrial production of the country in which you are a municipal workmanship.

- Thyme
Thyme is the herb of some members of the genus Thymus of aromatic perennial evergreen herbs in the mint family Lamiaceae. Thymes are relatives of the oregano genus Origanum. They have culinary, medicinal, and ornamental uses, and the species most commonly cultivated and used for culinary purposes is Thymus vulgaris.
- Olive Oil
Olive oil is a liquid fat obtained from olives, a traditional tree crop of the Mediterranean Basin. The oil is produced by pressing whole olives. It is commonly used in cooking, for frying foods or as a salad dressing.
- Palestinian koufiyeh
The Palestinian keffiyeh is a chequered black and white scarf that is usually worn around the neck or head. The Palestinian keffiyeh has become a symbol of Palestinian nationalism, dating back to the 1936–1939 Arab revolt in Palestine. Outside of the Middle East and North Africa, the keffiyeh first gained popularity among activists supporting the Palestinians in the conflict with Israel and is an icon of Palestinian solidarity.

Somehow it is never the elaborate recipes or the fancy meals, it is a bowl of soup in your mum’s kitchen on a cold day, a cup of peach icetea across the table from a dear friend, a fresh loaf of bread from your grandmother’s oven, the cookies you made for your kids’ class and stayed up till 2 in the morning decorating and packing them, the salad you made for your best friend and forgot the parsley.
