- क se काली - Kali, Goddess of Time, Destruction and Power
- ख se खंडोबा- Khandoba, An avatar of Shiva
- ग se गांधारी- Gandhari, An important character in the Indian epic: The Mahabharata
- घ se घटोत्कच- Ghatotkach, Son of Bhim and Rakshasi Hidimba (The Mahabharata)

Indian mythology has always fascinated me- from the time my grandmother told me bed time stories of the brave Hanuman to the time I read The Mahabharata for the first time.

I learnt to read and write Devanagari as a little girl in Hindi class in school.
Devanagari is one of the most widely used scripts in the Indian Subcontinent.
It is the fourth most adopted writing system in the world, it is being used for over a 120 languages.

This series is a combination of the two.
