Father's Hall Tree

Second in a series, the first is the Son's Hall Tree. Each tree is named for the tool box used as the storage space in each tree.  While living in downtown Troy, NY, also knon as the "Collar City"  I came accross two antique tool boxes. They belonged to a father and son who were machinists in the now defunct Arrow Shirt Collar factory. In honor of them, two hall trees were made, puctured is the Father's Tree. 
 
The door came from a former Crack House, the legs from a couch found in an abandoned building near Albany Airport and the window topper came from a house on College Street in Troy, destroyed by RPI college because it blocked the view of RPI's new EMPAC center.
