Sparkling Diamond

I was looking for inspiration on YouTube and I saw this shiny purple diamond. I was immediately drawn to it and I clicked the link. At first I was a bit disappointed since the lady who made it, Art with Flo, used Procreate and I don't currently have that. I decided to do my best to make it in Adobe Illustrator. It was really fun. At the end I realised I now have freeform gradients in Illustrator so I could have used that. I'd never used it before. I used freeform gradients to make the glow around the diamond. Such a cool feature. Its about time we had something new to play with! <3
