In this illustration, a school project, we had to create a postcard to represent our degree course.
My course was Visual Communication,

I always thought about graphic designers as people with the great potential of representing everything in a different way, people with no specific rules, with the freedom to communicate concepts in a unique way, people that don’t follow the normal flow, people that take the opposite direction.

So I decided to use the metaphor of the fish that swim on the opposite way, in search of his own direction and place in the world.

For this project I used a graphic tablet and different photoshop brushes.

To realize this postcard I prepared a brainstorming where I wrote simple words to describe the Visual Communication course. I find the brainstorming a good way to summarize concepts and it's an optimal “ideas finder”.
