exposition-educational center 'zhostovo'
National arts and crafts, such as Zhostovo painting, have always been an integral part of the Russian culture. Existing, but unfortunately decaying Zhostovo factory was a powerful city forming enterprise. The idea was to create the exposition-educational center based on and connected with existing factory, in order to attract visitors and help to develop not only Zhostovo craft, but also the whole town by providing new workplaces, pushing up product sale and giving possibility for artisans to share age-old knowledge with young generations.
