MomNom - A mother’s ambition coming to life
25 years after dedicating her life to her husband and kids, Dippy wanted to pursue her dream of making food for the world, food that was her family’s favourite. This led her to start her own delivery kitchen in Pune. Our goal was to build an ownable narrative for her brand in the otherwise crowded food-delivery space. We wanted to tell her story as originally as possible hence we built the brand around her true essence of being a mother who cooks wholesome food with no compromises.
Everything from the brand name to the messaging to the typography style was chosen to demonstrate a mother’s story. Use of hand gestures for the iconography helped us communicate the USP’s of the brand in a human and personal manner. The colours chosen were inspired by ingredients that are often used in every Indian household.
With the goal of telling a mother’s story effectively we created a series of messages that would remind the audience of things their mother would say and used hand lettering typography style to make it ownable and distinctive.
