Camping Trip to Lake Tawakoni State Park.
I took my camera on our camping trip this week. We stayed 2 nights. Arrived Wednesday and Left Friday. The one thing we loved the most is there are deer EVERYWHERE. We saw i believe 6 in the time we were there.
The next morning we got up early at about 6am. Did the usual shower and breakfast. Went easy with pop tarts. We then hit the trails up by the lake. Spring Point Trail and Spring East Trail. It was a really nice hike, perfect for bikers but we walked. We came across some amazing lake views and a nice little swamp along the way!
The next morning we packed everything up and heaed to hit the last trail. The Blackjack trail. It was a beautiful mess as we were all exhausted and sore. But we made it through then headed home. We are already planning our trip back! We loved it and definitely recommend camping or even just visiting at Lake Tawakoni State Park.
