Agricultural slavery | Social justice campaign
I created image assets for a hypothetical campaign about the prevalence of slave labour within the harvest of tomatoes for the tinned food industry. There have been legal cases around bonded labour in two states in Australia, where workers were housed in cramped conditions and paid well below minimum wage.
I took the photos in local supermarkets and a local park, and modified the images in Lightroom, Photoshop and Indesign.
