Shirlita Wonder Bread specializes in the production of sourdough breads from cereals and legumes. The delicious and satisfying breads contain whole protein and are handmade. Without yeast, swelling, sugar and oil, produced in a gluten-free environment.
BRANDING

The name Shirlita is the nickname of the founder, Shirley. She is also the one who makes the breads, handmade. What's the wonder? The wonder is that the breads are only contain gluten-free whole grains, sprouted kittens and flax, scented and smelted in millstone and fermented in traditional ways.
The first thing I started designing is the logo. I chose to go with a handwritten logo to convey authenticity and the fact that everything is handmade. The colors I picked are green, which symbolizes the nutritional and health value of the breads, and brown, that symbolizes the baking. In addition I added the beige that appears as a background and gives a warm and inviting atmosphere. I created a bread icon, incorporated it into the logo and made it part of the brand.
LABELS

The labels of the breads are the heart of the project. The labels appear on the front of the bread in the various stores and is the customer's first interaction with the brand. The goal was that they would stand out on the shelf and convey the brand's feelings and story.
Shirlita Wonder Bread has over 10 different types of bread, of which six are the main ones. The big challenge was how to differentiate between the different breads and still maintain a uniform language between them. The solution I created is to give each bread a unique color to serve as the backdrop of the label. The color is reflected in several places in the label. On the colorful background, I added a unique image to each bread that reflects its ingredients: quinoa, lentils, rice, etc.
Another challenge was that a lot of content had to be put in and I had to find the right order that would both maintain balance and harmony and also be able to convey all the details well. The solution was finding the right and accurate combination of different text styles, spacing, sizes, highlights and colors.
PRINT

I created a uniform language for print products using a frame that is also based on the principle of hand drawing and includes the illustration of the bread from the logo. I created business cards, brochures, roll ups, comparison tables and more.
DIGITAL

I set up a website that shows the story behind the business, all their products and data, places where bread is sold, articles Shirley wrote and ways to get in touch. We set up a Facebook page with posts that speak the same brand language.
Thanks for watching!
