The VidyoSlate app lets you view, share, and annotate documents in a video conference. Typically, the user would click on a conference link, and then choose to how to join: by video as a conference participant, or using the VIdyoSlate app.

 

The UI designer, Michelle Muzyka, came to me for help with the splash screen that displayed the VidyoSlate branding identity, with a text note on how to actually join a conference. We analyzed the workflow, and concluded that users would need visual guidance to set expectations and show them what to do. The resulting design incorporates a three-step sequence, each labled with a single word for clarity and ease of translation.
