As a picture maker, I've believed photography happens when you are in that moment, not before nor after. Neither in photoshop, nor in the poses but in the moment. It is a conscious aim of tipping the hand of the real person behind the persona and to expose some embracing truth. To me, the face- the eyes, the expression of the mouth- is the thing that reflects character. It is the only part of the body that permits us to see the inner person. The picture is a statement i make about the person and my interpretation of beauty. These ingredients are very personal, in a way they are all pictures of me.
