A. Bright Idea's profile

Mind Matters Animation Series

To further extend the messages from the Mind Matters educational series, the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) tasked A. Bright Idea to highlight key messages from each pamphlet through animated videos. The science-based information is made easily digestible and engaging by using subtle movements, a catchy score, and an authoritative but friendly voice. Each video runs less than 45 seconds and can be accessed from NIDA’s YouTube channel to supplement lessons. Hundreds have viewed each video since the launch in May.

In addition to YouTube, the videos were placed on NIDA’s website for teens and used across all of the other social media platforms NIDA has a presence on. The integration of the video allows for NIDA to connect with their current and potential followers by using the engaging creative with appropriate hashtags. The publication warehouse has reported increased orders for the materials and the web team has reported increased pageviews with these posts.
