Interior Design
ALMA-ATA CAFE / ALMATY

Typology: Cafe
Location: Almaty, Kazakhstan
Built area: 100 m2
Sector: HoReCa

The main idea of the cafe's interior design is the harmonious combination of spatial minimalism and conceptual loft aesthetics. All interior elements complement each other, creating a unified organism, a singular conceptual city. The central bar counter, styled after rock, symbolizes the mountains towering over the metropolis. Pleasant microcement floors and walls are highlighted by the room's main color accent, a blue gradient symbolizing the sky. Despite the warm and inviting interior, the cafe engages in a dialogue with the visitor, drawing attention to a global issue: the environmental problem. The transition from gray to blue represents smog hanging over the city. Comfortable minimalist furniture, light wood, cream-colored floors and walls, and an unusual bar with visible color conduits - all embody the conceptual vision of a cafe that symbolizes the image of a city looking towards the future while occasionally glancing back at the past.
