about the process of this work
One evening, I decided to make a study sketch, which I did't plan to finish. It should't have been perfect, just another practice sketch (finding out propo. I made a black and white sketch and thought that there was something in it and I decided to add some color. I chose a color scheme that reflects the energy of his performances. After that I choose graphic/painting style.
Then I started working on details. It took a looooooot of time to make his face, but it worth it.
The face is the most important thing in portrait, so I decided to make the rest of the body and clothes somewhat abstract, inaccurate, as in some paintings by old masters. But, you know, it was a great experience, the process itself delivered a bunch of positive emotions and fun.
