After this observation and in the context of smart home, I wanted to develop a game to give the opportunity to kids to learn more about vegetables. The main idea is to make children learn the essentials of how to cultivate vegetables to be careful about them but also to improve their knowledge about vegetables.
An E-ink display on the base allows a low consumption of energy and doesn’t damage kids eye sight. Since the base and the monitors run on Bluetooth LE it enables devices to run on battery with lower energy consumption. This is the perfect companion to enable non-frequent charging.
After initial sketch exploration I made a 1:1 scale illustration to start some mockups, to understand the size for children’s hands. Finally, I worked the details with explorations digitally in CAD. In parallel, I developed the interaction and UX interface of the product.
