Mood : The mood was to use different materials to create an artwork that captures the essence of my inspiration.I used sand, stones, inks & resin for this. It shows a transition between land and the sea. things like distortion, reflection, layers, volume, texture are just a bi-product of this phenomenon.

Concept : The concept is to de-construct and re-construct silhouettes. Also, putting in details like - volume, transformation, layers, exaggeration and distortion. I have tried to depict it all through the board here. Use of different material is essential to realise the idea of co-existence.

Colour : The pallet of enhanced neutral tones, with washed and soft qualities inspired by the imperfect look of organic dyes. These would work in tonal combinations or single colour statements, and there's also room for contrast with a mix of warm, cool and bright tones.
.
Material : I wanted to use only natural fabrics for my range . Sticking to the essence of my inspiration. For Transparency and layers  I am using silk organza. Raw / unwashed denim & Corduroy have been used for the depiction of solid elements. Light weight Blend of linen cotton and hemp has been used for the depiction of water.

Trend : Less is more: the new minimalism will be about more than just basic product. This theme’s sophisticated materials, relaxed fits, and utility details offer plenty of opportunity for design (under)statements. Be open about sustainability: it’s all about honesty, and making a start. Engage your consumers and take them on the journey with you.

Client : A range targeted towards the young. The ones who understand the idea of a culture uniting different people. The ones who are always out there. The ones who understand HIP-HOP. The ones who are sneaker heads. The ones who aren’t afraid. The ones to prioritise quality.
