Trying to think of a way to motivate myself to do some regular sketching during the winter months (and inspired by Inktober) I decided to do a vintage car Advent calendar. I began to draw little postcard-sized watercolours every day and offer them for sale at just £24 including shipping anywhere in the world. I wanted to give people who couldn't perhaps normally afford to buy something a chance to get some original art at a cheap price. It proved very popular and I've now been doing them for nine years - there's no way they'll let me stop now! To keep it interesting I've been trying to think of themes. For two years they were my favourite real cars, one year they featured vintage versions of film and tv vehicles, other times they're just flights of fancy from my imagination.
