Questo libro è una ricerca e sperimentazione visiva collettiva, contenente elaborati di diversi studenti, riguardante il macrotema del suono, con tutti gli argomenti che ne derivano, come ad esempio il silenzio, il rumore, le onomatopee, i suoni della natura o della città, il ritmo, la musica, la scrittura musicale.
Ogni elaborato, composto da 16 pagine, corrisponde a un singolo capitolo del libro, e ha l’obiettivo di rappresentare, in maniera del tutto libera e attraverso l’uso di tipografia, fotografia o illustrazione, il suono (o i suoni) scelti.
L’unico colore utilizzabile è il nero (nel caso delle immagini la scala di grigi), così come l’unico carattere consentito è l'Helvetica (o Helvetica Neue) in qualsiasi peso (Light, Roman, Bold, Italic).

30 experimentations around the theme of sound
This book is a collective research and visual experimentation, containing works by several students, concerning the macro-theme of sound, with all the topics deriving from it, such as silence, noise, onomatopoeias, the sounds of nature or the city, rhythm, music, musical writing.
Each work, consisting of 16 pages, corresponds to a single chapter of the book, and aims to represent, in a completely free way and through the use of typography, photography or illustration, the sound (or sounds) chosen.
The only color that can be used is black (in the case of the images the gray scale), as well as the only allowed character is Helvetica (or Helvetica Neue) in any weight (Light, Roman, Bold, Italic).
