Tape Measure inspired by Marcel Breuer

1st year - Tape measure symbolic representation of the designer and the designer's work.
 
This tape measure was inspired by Breuer’s furniture designs, experimenting the possibility with bending materials from glass, metal and wood. This manufacturing technique were consider an advancement in the Bauhaus period since the beginning of industrial revolution the inception of machines was manifest , thus Breuer’s style reflects many qualities of this era. His designs were conceive to be machine like: lightweight and robust, together with the hollow frame structure giving the effect of elevating from the ground.
