UCA x OCA Adverts

The University for the Creative Arts offers one of the broadest ranges of course options in the UK for studying in the arts by distance learning, offered through their distance learning college, UCA Open College of the Arts.

During my design role at UCA, I created adverts for print and digital to help promote the courses OCA offered, I used imagery produced by OCA students and created vector images for when images were not available.

Created a OCA themed repeat pattern from vector illustrations for Eye Magazine advert that was focused on Art and Graphic Design. Colour red chosen from the OCA branding, keeping it one colour to work with the busy pattern and the bold red would catching the views attention on the page.

Due to the size of these digital adverts, I thought best to create vector illustration related to the course that was being advertised, instead of using student images as they would look too busy on a small web space. Like the Eye Magazine advert design, the red is from the OCA branding and kept it bold and simple to be more eye catching.
