Wayang Tube
A public installation for Arts in the City initiative by CENDANA. A six month long installation placed just behind the iconic Sultan Abdul Samad building right at the heart of Kuala Lumpur. The installation was meant for both an interactive installation and also an open space for performances. This make the installation a flexible space for people to gather around it. The concept and ideas behind it was taken from a gramophone shape and using the most cheapest and durable materials that we could find in this part of the world. The installation was purposely made to white color to act as a blank canvas toward the audience and also the performer.
