Southwestern Electric Power, a subsidiary of utility company American Electric Power, wanted to spread the word about electric vehicles and their benefits to both the consumer and the environment. A marketing campaign was created, consisting of images that combine household items with automobiles in interesting ways in order to show that owning and charging an electric vehicle can be as hassle free as a smartphone, nightlight, or other small device. The tagline "YES. IT'S LIKE THAT." bolsters that message. A bus wrap became a key piece of the campaign, and to further strengthen the campaign's message was applied to a fleet of 100% electric city buses. The two sides that make up the complete wrap each display a campaign image, the tagline, a quick fact about electric vehicles, and a web URL that explains the benefits of electric vehicles in greater detail.
