As a designer and minimalist approach, the designer saw the potential as well as the challenge of a narrow gap with extreme proportions. The proportions of the plot are 2.3M x 23M. The ground floor comprises of outdoor space, living room, and kitchen while the first floor comprises of a master suite and second floor with a similar layout bedroom. Both the bedrooms are planned in a manner that they receive adequate light and ventilation which was quite a tough job in such a narrow and enclosed site. Skylights are the main source of light in the bedrooms while openings on the front allow the air circulation through space. Here the challenge was to understand the scale of the structure and space. It was important how skillfully space could be managed in an absolutely compact site from its one dimension.
