“Running images, flipping pages” with Simone Koller and Corina Neuenschwander.
The workshop took place over a week, with other six classmates.
The first day we watched the movie “Blood simple” (1984) by Joel and Ethan Coen.
Subsequently a part of the film was entrusted to each of us. We have collected
frames of the assigned part. We buil t the film’s story through the images and the typography.
The scene I had was without speeches, just an initial sentence. The typographical parts
are background songs that conveyed strong feelings and I tried to get them out through
the distortion of typography.
At the end of the week we printed the book connecting all the parts.
