Project Name: STAR Logo
Made for: NOAA Center for Satellite Applications and Research (STAR)
Concept: Current logo (on the left) was over 15 years old and out of date as well as unreadable. The new coin was designed in Adobe Illustrator (100%). I simplified the design and made our acronym (STAR) larger and the main concept. Now the logo can be seen on smaller presentations as well as on larger posters and banners. It is also the beginning of a new branding for STAR.
Project Name: OSGS Challenger Coin
Made for: NOAA Office of Satellite Ground Systems (OSGS)
Concept: This coin is given out during award ceremonies in appreciation for work done by an employee. The coin was designed mostly in Adobe Illustrator (75%) and Adobe Photoshop (25%). It was sent to an outside vendor, Metalcraft Mint, for production. Below is the actual finished coin.
